Family-friendly hotel for extended stays. Rooms are equipped with a full kitchen, including utensils. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. A complimentary buffet breakfast is offered. Parking is available for a flat daily fee. It's very quiet and conveniently located near highways, the airport, beaches, and the subway station. It's a member of the Marriott chain.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Long term rates are pretty reasonable. Only issue I have with the room is that the Marriott app gives you option to request cleaning every second day but the hotel must be reminded verbally about the same. Service, especially breakfast and gym facilities are good. Dining area is kept neat and clean and all items are stocked readily. Gym water unit needs new filter though. Location is pretty good especially if you have to go South from here everyday as the 405 goong south in the morning and coming up in the evening is not busy. If you want to drive into LA from here, then the location is not convenient. Entry into the street is tricky, so be careful when entering Konami way as well as trying to enter the hotel parking. There are blind spots especially with the entrance to the hotel parking.

This is a qualified four stars, because it rates only in comparison with local residence type suites, which for various reasons I happened to sample. Compared to the nearby Residence Inn for example, this is a comparative gem. First off, much cleaner. The hall carpets at the RI were in shreds. There was a puke (or something worse) stain on the carpet in my room that they couldn't clean, so they just left it there, rather than replace the carpet. Second, the "full kitchen" I was promised at the RI was a joke, no oven, no frying pan, and little tiny glasses and cups, like for a child's tea party. The TownePlace kitchen is really good, enough counter space, and a compact oven big enough to take anything you're likely to cook. The coffee cups are too small, but the glasses and dishes are normal size, like for an adult. I was there for a couple of weeks, and my culinary style wasn't cramped at all, in fact, I developed quite a fondness for that cozy kitchen. Third, the hot water and pressure is good here, no issues. At the Residence Inn both were awful. I could barely stand to take a shower, and that setting produced a loud groan from the pipes. Ridiculous. Fourth, and this kind of goes off the books, you can trick the LG TV's here to play downloaded shows and movies off a USB stick (FAT32 format, x264 only), and you can't do that at the RI. In fact, if you try, they have to reboot the TV's, oops. I'll leave how to the internet. Try plugging in the stick and out until it recognizes it, but it works. Finally, there's the internet . . . a giant whiff, oh well. The internet at both hotels is pitiful, horrible, an unstable 5-6 megs, and that's the premium service, you have to pay for that! In this day and age, that's just about unacceptable. Still, if you're stuck in one of these relatively inexpensive places out in the sticks, this is the one to get. Access north and south bound is easy by the lesser traveled arterials, if you're savvy.

I was initially upset with this hotel due to them relocating me to another hotel before check-in without prior notification. The hotel I was relocated to ended up charging me $325 for parking ALONE. I then contacted Daniel Bautista, the GM, and he was great and understood the issue. No hesitation he resolved it. I believe that deserves the 5-star rating. Thank you!

Gali, Brian and the other staff was amazing. We came out for my grandson mini vacay before Returning to school and the service was impeccable. The resort was small but very accommodating. Great location, breakfast and clean accommodations. I would definitely recommend and look forward to returning late December. Employees were very friendly and made it feel like home away from home resort. Awesome service Gali...
